Florencia Sabatini is the Head of Communications at Google. She is in charge of communicating Google’s news to journalists. She has been working in the company for ten years.
She told us that there is an app called Google Keep. It is useful to write your notes and organize your daily life.
Florencia explained that Google Maps works when people activate their localization. Users are constantly sending information and Google can know where they are, and if they are moving, at what speed. If they are moving slowly, Google says that there is traffic.
She also told us that Google is working in a project that consists in launching balloons to the sky. They provide with Wi-Fi to the parts in the world that do not have that service. She said: ¨This balloons help to connect the world¨. These balloons are working in New Zealand and South Africa.
Sabatini also explained that Google does not spy or hear you. If you search a lot of times something, Google is going to show you adds related to that.
She told us that in Google there are fakes news but you can avoid them by checking if the pages have a tick. This mark means that the site is not fake.
Moreover, Florencia clarified that the problem between Google and Huawei was initiated because President Donald Trump did not like Google.
