People's comments about ¨It 2¨ tell us that it surely would not exceed the first place at the box office. There are several points that can explain why it will not be so successful.
¨It 2¨ is a thriller and a mystery film about a killer clown named Pennywise. It feeds on children's fear. This was directed by Andrés Muschietti, an Argentinian director who directed other films such as “It” (2017) and “Mama”.
As regards the performance, the actors did their work almost excellent and they also expressed very well the personality of the character.
At the beginning of the film, the effects look pretty good and they are also realistic but as the end approaches the effects get worse. There are parts, such as in the end where there is lack of lighting and it is difficult to distinguish things.
Finally, the plot is not very good for several reasons. The first one is that in some moments they mix images of ¨It 1¨ and it is confusing. Another one, is in the moment when they explain where the clown comes from, saying that it is from space, and finally the way they kill him was quite ridiculous.
In conclusion, ¨It 1¨ is much better, which was seen by 50 % more people and was much more successful.
